After I unfortunatly dropped my beloved on the ridgeway, I am now getting a hesiation when I open the throttle, to the point it feels like muck in the carb's, except i no longer have carbs but injectors.
This is my first injection bike, so any ideas what is casuing this problem?
I cleaned the plugs they look OK, it does back fire occasionally especially after a while of hesitating.

Garry,

Hope your'e OK after your slow but uncomfortable looking spill yesterday, I was just behind you on the Adventure

Hope you get the bike sorted soon

He did indeed crash, I was right behind him. Here he is surveying the damage:

If it's any consolation Gary, I crashed again after you'd gone home. Came off in the only bit of mud in 44 miles. Got thrown off & landed on my knee on sharp rocks:

Wow, I feel better in that I only have a huge bruise on my leg, unlike you, hope it heals soon....... did you do much damage to the bike.

As for the cables, I did do a quick inspection, once cleaned all the muck and dust... so must dust:-), not under the tank, I'll do that tonight, it either feels like fuel but more like it's not either getting through or not igniting.

Gary:
Underneath the throtle bodies you should see a small piece of brass pipe about 5mm thick covered with a rubber cap. This is the vacuum pick up point for balancing the bodies.
I suspect in the crash you lost the cap and that's fooling the Motronix. Worth checking...
If the cap is not there, just cover the thingy with a piece of tape till you get a proper replacement...

No damage to the bike but when I got home I found that my recently constructed centre stand mounted gearbox protector was AWOL, presumed MIA:spitfire

The homemade bash plate worked though. I looked at it this morning & found a large scrape on the underside:)

See you another time

Steve
