Hella Ballasta

Hi all,

I've had Hella Micro DEs on my bike for ages but it appears that one of them has finally stopped working. I've checked and the ballast is getting power and I've checked that the bulb is working so the only thing left is the ballast.

I've had a look around for a replacement ballast but I have to admit that I'm getting rather confused over them. The markings I have are 5DV 007 760-47 and DOT D2S;D2R 2000h.

I think I've found one (it looks the same) but it's marked as Phillips LVQ212.

Anyone know for sure if these are the same unit?

End result, yes the Philips and Hella units are the same.

All you need is a ballast of the wattage you require. Make is irrelevent.
