i remember seeing your bike on ebay a few months ago i think - remember as it had the brake MC issue i had just sorted on my 1100. unfortunately mine has started weeping again, i think the bore is shot so watching out for another one second hand. good luck getting it sorted, great bike. good idea to start doing some of the spannering yourself, dead easy to work on and the advice/help on here is brilliant

Thanks Gog, I think you are right, an investment in a technical manual would be a good plan. It would have been that bike no ebay, its lovely, but not exactly an accurate sale document !!!
