Having struggled to jog around a regular route I use at the end of the run I needed to buy a bottle of energy drink and a newspaper, a Broadsheet of cause as it acts as a better fan to cool down, so I popped into the local garage.

Coming out having brought these items as I walked across the forcourt a fella on a 1150GS pulled up to the pump and so I thought I would ask him the above question. Taken aback by my comment some of his first words to me were " Blimey its only Monday thats a bit strong..." so I then explained about this site and thankfully although he said he was not aware of this site I think he must have some hinkling of it as he turned out to be a nice guy and we had a quick chat. He said that he also had a Jap 4 and he had brought his GS to travel to North Africa and had intended to sell it on his return but he's ended up loving it and it's not for sale now.

Two points really you meet the nicest people riding GS'S and I really will be careful who I ask that question next time as I could be writing this from an hospital bed next time.

I spotted a guy on a GS coming towards me once so I gave him the full on "coffee bean handshake" he turned around and gave chase, I was in my van so the chase was short, I easily lost him, those 1150's eh!
