Hello Forum (new members)

Two days to go and counting. Grey one (best colour!) with all the extra's ready and waiting for me to collect...

:thumb2 although wrong colour! :D

...Hardly ever see one on the road. Why?

Cos they're all off-road?

Seriously, BMW sold 671 of them in the UK in 2008 which is a good number but I guess it's going to take another year or two of constant sales until they're seen regularly. For comparison, I think R1200GS have been selling at something like 1400 or so per year for four years.

Looks like you're going to get some great weather for the weekend; enjoy it!

Grey is good - ignore those who chose the childs toy coloured ones :D

Although I no longer think of grey as a colour - it's more of an economic outlook

Enjoy your new steed and don't worry about all the posts bitchin about this problem or that issue.

We spend at least as much time vigorously defending them as well :thumb2

Oh you'll have a way to go before you get the full starship enterprise look :augie

I've since added the front strobes too and I'm about to add some LED aux lights... if anything it's more close encounters of the GS kind than Star Trek :bounce1

Those will be really useful in a Ukranian forest :augie
