First of all .... welcome to the site :thumb

Would respectfully suggest you subscribe as a full member, best twelve quids worth you'll ever get. Real value for money in the long run AND you'll be able to PM people, and be PM'd should someone have info for ya :thumby:

Best of luck with the quest, good Xcountry's do turn up from time to time. Most on here have one as their 'prime' bike and not without reason :D

Welcome again

From what I have seen the X Country seam to go for between £2.6 and £3.6k whether they are from dealers or not, but I await to be corrected.

I think that's about right. More expensive from a dealer of course but should come with six months/twelve months warranty, knowledge that any and all recalls done, and maybe a little peace of mind?

Bilko on here bought an immaculate, very low mileage example from a dealer for 3k so they can be had :thumb

Swings and roundabouts of course. Find a nice one and you like it .... then buy it. They don't make them anymore!

I opened the garage yesterday after 10 days away and my eyes were drawn to my Xcountry - brought a smile to my face

Great little bikes

After alot of deliberation, we have decided to sell my wife's X-Country. This has plenty of expensive extras so the price will reflect that. If you are interested, PM me. When I get around to it, will put it up in the fore sale section.... though don't hold your breath for that, we aren't in any hurry.

Well, like I respectfully suggested to the OP to sign up as a full member ... he can't pm you :blast

Good luck with the sale ... sounds like a nice 'bike :thumb

OK... a few details then, quickly.

Its a 2007 bike with 2009 suspension (off my original XCo). Still have the original rear shock but the forks are gone. I can't remember if we put Hyperpro progressive springs in when we changed the setup....I will confirm when Bas is back from holiday.
2 LED spots wired into the main beam with MotoGadget relays
May be wired (ignition) for a TomTom...can't remember exactly though will check.
Barkbuster hand guards
Wunderlich clear screen
Scheffelmier bash plate
Large X-Tank
Customised H&B pannier rack, newly powder coated.
No rear footpegs
Nearly new MEFO Explorers (like K60 scouts but with bigger tread gap so better offroad)
Having said that, this bike has only been off tarmac a couple of times and then only for a couple of short gravel roads in Norway. below is a photo from that trip. Note, the rack was not fitted then.

Bike is currently in the Netherlands (British plate - not exported) though if anyone seriously interested, I can leave it (or meet) at my sisters close to Stansted airport. Will put photos and price in the for sale section, this weekend.

A 2007 X Country has just been listed on eBay
Not mine!
