Well I've said my good byes to the South East ...

So I'd better say hello to all you wonderful people down here!

I'll be moving down here (Sidmouth) on the 10th of October- so I hope to make some new friends who will also teach me a road or two in this great part of the world. . .

Welcome Captain. Lots of seriously good roads to explore in Devon and Cornwall. We have had some superb rideouts over the last year or so. Nothing planned at the moment but I expect someone (Jaq?) will start another thread soon

[What Speed Limit]

As an ex-Wescunreee resident for over 25 years I would like to say I hope you enjoyed this part of the world as much as I did. I now live where speed limits are rear and the open road is full right grip of fear. Where people come as a pilgrimage for 2 weeks for TT and 2 week for MGP. heaven.i will making a quick entrance and exit tomorrow Friday 3rd Oct into Exmouth to pick up my daughter then up to Newcastle upon tyne for the great north run I must be nuts. if you see a fully laden GS 1 up on the way down or 2 upon the way out around 1700-1900 riding the ass of his bike thinking he's on a RS it may be me. one digresses. although no longer a resisdent welcome to the West Country. ENJOY.

Welcome to the South West, I'm sure you'll settle in very well.

We're in the very north of the region, but if you make it up this way, maybe on one of your famous ring rides your more than welcome to stop by for a cuppa and what have you.

Keep us all posted on the new shop too. I'm quite sure it will be a great excuse for a ride out to come say hello.
