Some silly replies here. Silver blankets will only help with radiated heat. Your problem is conducted and convected heat in the box.
Maybe you should consider pre-loading your topbox with dry ice. You'll then need to install a small vent on the top to allow the gas to escape. Should keep your lid cool in an F1 style. You can then observe your topbox from the office and if you see the dry ice stop venting, you can simply re-pack with a new charge.
Don't forget to air your lid before riding off to avoid asphyxia.
