Recommend me a helmet security cable that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Nothing fancy, because i know if they want it they will just crop the cable. Something that will deter the casual scroate from lifting my lid

Any cable bike lock, and lock it to your handrail, not heavy, but hey plenty of room in that topbox.

Wunderlich have a different one for the 1250 for some reason.
1200 sits under riders seat at front.
1250 under pillion.
Decent bike lock through rails works as well if not better as it’ll be stronger rather than a 5mm cable. (Says he who has the one off his 1200 to possibly fit to the 1250........)

As it’s short, you can put the helmet on your mirror, and loop it round the throttle, or round the centre of the handlebars. That obviously won’t work if you don’t have handguards!
