Hi,

I currently use a Schuberth S1 and fancy a second lid. So...what are other S1 users using as an alternative that fits the same head shape?

I am thinking of another S1, in a different colour, provided I can get a double d-ring or a Motocross style lid.

Thanks

Nigel

I agree with Ned. I don't think anyone can tell you what might suit you best for comfort, it's a personal and specific thing to you.
What you can get input on are things like, fogging/demisting, noise, build quality etc.

A man went into Asda, walked upto the customer care desk and slapped his circumsized knob on the counter and said "I bet you can't roll that back"

Not exactly a helmet recomendation but related :aidan :augie

I know that, hence the question with regard to other S1 users.

I might try a BMW Enduro lid, but will probably end up with another S1.

OK,

This is an old thread, but its my old thread :comfort!

I now have 2 Schuberth S1's, had another one but that hit the road quite hard and was retired :eek, and my HJC off road lid.

The question is broadly the same as last time.

What other helmets are S1 wearer's now wearing?

I would like a flip but am having problems finding one to fit my bizarre head shape! Have tried most of the ones around but thought I might have missed one.

Thanks

Nigel

Another S1.... If the cap fits, wear it.

I like the BMW system 6 - it fits well but I'm wary of buying version 1 of anything especially as some are finding issues with bits of plastic breaking and pinlock visors misting up. Perhaps it's nothing but a couple of odd issues.
