you can see a heck of a lot more of the road with the HUD than you when looking down at your sat nav, when you can see NO road

You've still got to take your focus off the road ahead but I rather like it, despite that.

Just as long as it doesn't use Garmin as it's Sat Nav source.

Edit: Changed my mind. Like the idea but it only works when the bike's almost at a standstill.
Mind the way 12RT's are built these days that's as often as not.

Ok(ish) so long as you only use your satnav on the bike, I use mine in my car, and on my pushbike..

Unless they stick a map up in front of your eyes and you can't see ANY of the fucking road

Very expencive

Considering you can get ski goggles that do the same thing for a load less. Just buy the goggles and transplant/ bodge the screen and electronics into you tourx
