I've just got this in an e-mail from a friend. In spite of being an accomplished road and track rider and racer, he's still something of a novice on the dirt - you might be aware that there's precious few places where you can legally ride off-road in Scotland. He is, however, improving since he sold his CRF 450X (I did try to tell him....) and bought a KTM 200EXC.

So, any advice on how and where he can find somewhere to ride in England or Wales next week....?

Hi Mike, need your help.

I’m off down to Brum for a night’s work next week. Thought I’d stick the bike in and go rag round some off-road, probably in North Wales. However I can’t seem to find any decent, clear route guides/advice. You hang about on all yon adventure-type sites so I’m hoping you’ll know where to find some info.

I’ll be passing Yorkshire and Cumbria too if Wales is no good….

4th Feb, if you fancy being re-fueling man. And yes I’ve a vague hope of finishing this time, I’m slowly improving.

TIA :)

That's our Green friend isn't it?
I'll PM him on The Snug, might be able to sort something out.

Green friend.... does he come from Thurso near the reactor!!!

My mate entered the Scottish Enduro last year for the first time and won his class (the over 40's) and he's 63:bow:bow
