I've tried the "Search" button :rtfm. I've scratched my head :comfort. Kicked the cat :kitty. Had another mug of tea :proff, and all the other thought provoking methods (except alcyhool :101, as it's only 10 am and I'm off for a ride in a bit :tarka), and I STILL can't suss what section to put this in*. SO.........

Where do you tossers buy your tyres?? Where's CHEAPEST for the finest Conti's?? I'm talking mail order (unless it's Norwich), and I'll be fitting them myself. I'm after a 160/60x17 road attack. Yes yes yes, I KNOW the :GS (1200) takes a 150/70x17, but like the Mrs, I prefer a bit more girth up my rear end :blast

Cheapest, 'cos I'm jobless :rob. Conti's 'cos I like them :thumb2, and it will match the front. New because the present tyre is nearing the end of it's legal life :bobby and, like the Mrs' favourite toy, vibrates like mad (when leaning) :eek :eek.

*If :mod want to move this to a more relevant section, then please feel free. Sorry for tearing you away from your G&T aboard the Yacht.

The cheapest I found Trail Attacks was on e-bay the last time I bought some but I would also suggest checking out M&P :thumb2

Try James Sherlock. His prices for tyres were bloomin' competetive before Xmas especially Tourances. Google him. He's in South Molton, Devon. 01769 574350 but look on the tinterweb first as the office is small and they get really busy.

Fluff

-1 for roundandblack.

Ordered yesterday, dispatched yesterday on next day delivery.

Haven't arrived :tears

Mind you, that's hardly their fault. They dispatched in about 1/2 an hour.....

Last Year Busters in Swansea were doing Conti Trail Attacks at £130 per pair + £4.50 delivery, and they're currently doing 10% off for a very short period! ( I have some stashed!)

I've a Conti trail attack rear from my 1200 GSA (07), haven't got a clue what size but I reckon "standard". Not squared off, loads of meat on it. I took it off cuz I didn't like it and put a Tourance back on. You're welcome to it for free if you're out of work and can cope with the standard size, just pay the postage and make a donation of your choice to Help for Heroes.

Well, many BIG HUGE thanks to Rob Mac & Ironandsteel who have offered me tyres for free. It's truly unbelievable :thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

BUT... The Mrs has decided to buy me a new tyre , so I'll still be looking for a new one.

At least I've got plenty of time in the day to find the cheapest tyre :blast
