Hi
I am from the South East section and I am looking at organising a trip to the National War Memorial sometime next year - April'ish. I have looked around websites for 'cheap' overnight camping with shower, toilet and water but not a lot is coming up. Found Fullbrook Farm but they want use to be quiet by 21:30 - not a chance!!
Can anybody help me locate any sites, farmers field etc? Probably looking at about 10-15 bikes plus any of your local folk that may want to join us (I will send out an invite when I have a site and date).

Thanks in advance.
Joe

It's near Chipping Norton, between Cheltenham (M5) and Banbury (M40)

Cost
£5 per person per night.
Kids and dogs free.
Please pay me on arrival so I don't need to chase you and point at you shouting 'leeeeech'.

We had a blood good weekend!

HI if you dont find anywhere with facilities you can camp in my field there is a toilet at farm for ladies or no 2s. campfire, late night no problem £ 5 per tent we are about 20 miles from the memorial nr ashby -de -la-zouch dates between 5th to 21st ok for us this would be pretty much wild camping .Rob

Rob, that is a great offer and will keep it in mind. You may want to put something in the camping section if you wanted to advertise.

I have found a pub with camp facilities that I am enquiring about but if this falls through then will PM you.

The Black Horse at Hulland Ward may be able to accommodate you. About 28 miles from the Arboretum. They have at least 2 weekends each year with bikers camping in the garden. No access to facilities once the pub is shut, and only a washbasin available for a strip wash when it is open. Nesh types can go for the B&B. Give Muriel a ring to see what she can do.

Don't know if it's a bit far off track but this is a place, just outside Craven Arm's, that cater for bike rallies etc, you can make as much noise as you like and I think you can have fires as well. We had my wifes 40th there and partied till about 4 ish with music pumping out of the back of a van. :thumb
