help before buying 1200GS

Probably had this question asked a million times before but...

2005 1200GS ABS, with a few scratches (plus a cracked beak) and 5K miles, private sale for £6300.

Should I haggle a bit or buy it asap?

In mint condition it would be worth over £7000 so that's a good price - it will also still be under warranty. Make sure it was only 'dropped' rather than 'crashed' - do an HPI check.

Sounds a very good price and if the bike is good and straight you can probably afford to get an rac/aa report before you buy, and it will still be a bargain
