I recently bent my (standard BMW 1150 ADV) crash bars on a car, which foolishly crossed my path, while filtering on the M25. I was impressed with the way they creased the car's door and knocked off it's wing mirror and kept me upright during the incident, but they are now about 30 degrees out of alignment.
Hitting them with a heavy hammer has made no impression.
What do I do now? Do I have to buy new ones or can they be straightened out?

Remove the rubber grommet then slide in a pinch bar in then use a 6" scaffold pole
