Hi everyone I'm needing help to get a jacket and trouser combo that is waterproof and fits.Currently grown out of the 64 tourguard jacket and fear that 66 sizes will also be too small.the trousers are the head ache as I need around a 55" waist with loose fit around the thighs.I am 6'4" and 27 stone 58" chest.struggling to find anything and the bike is sat there unused, any idea's?any made to measure waterproofs or stuff from the USA that may accommodate me?All help gratefully recieved.

thanks for the link it still appears that choice in the textile trousers are lacking a little but the search will continue, regards Clark.

Actually bought these ones myself and well pleased, ride most of the year without lining and found them warm enough, 100% waterproof and survived 200 mile deluge from Gathering of the Clans this year, would buy them again and braces help, cheers

P.S. Should have said, found problems getting fat boy textile jacket and ended up with Buffalo, under £100, waterproof and hard wearing, can sweat of wee tad though in warmer days.

Thanks for that I thought that these were in euro sizes but I now realise that these are the waist measurements in inches so I should be ok with these, also I saw some 12xl on Ebay branded RK Sport so the bike may get a proper run of distance again soon, many thanks Clark.

I know it's going to sound wrong but have you considered all the alternatives?

yes I'm working on getting weight off but a mate has recently got a gs1200 and so I want to be able to go out this year and not wait until I loose some lard.

fair does, was thinking you could use some MotoXross gear for protection and just wear a regular jacket and rain proofs over the top.

Have you tried the Merkin online sites?

Our American cousins tend to be of a rather large build and I'm sure that given the market over there, you'd find something sensible to fit well :nenau

We have a couple of very large chaps on the site- I'm sure one of them will be along soon and although the gentleman I'm thinking of isn't quite your height, he's not lacking in the girth stakes- he may well be able to nod you in the right direction :)

merkin? when I typed it in it came up with pubic wigs.Nice but no use for on the bike,do you have a link?

hahahahahaha americans or septics which every your more familiar with... merkins or pubic wigs won't help you on a bike....hahahahahaha

what are those really bike all in one jobs called roadcrafter?

Aerostich Roadcrafter, yes, but their biggest size isn't big enough in this case (I've got the biggest and I'm a svelte 18 1/2 stone 6 four)

Don't know if the Darian jackets and trews come any bigger but I'd be surprised if they did :)

Merkins :D

what about zipping 2 roadcrafters together? and stuffing merkins into any gaps?

yeah yeah I know

hat cat door....:blast

jts

ive used jts stuff for years and im 6'2 and 58 inch chest 48 waist. just got new water proof jacket and only needed 7xl and that still on roomy side.
only had one zip go in the last 9 year and they replaced the item no problem. been all over europe in some monsoon rain storms and still rate all the jts gear ive had.

Yes I ended up getting the jts gear, tried the trousers in heavy rain before a planned trip to scotland they leaked just a little around the back of one knee and the crotch but I sprayed with fabsil and they performed well on the tour of scotland, thanks for the help from every one.
