I had hid this in another post but would like your expert opinions....

At present i use Sony headphones which plug into my 660, after a few hours they can hurst my ears if you pull on the wire and move them.

All i want is a system that will fit into the helmet and not into your ears and can be paired with the 660 via bluetooth etc and not plugged into the 660, im not bothered about talking on the phone or bike to bike comms, i just want to listen to my music and get directions from my 660.

Im not sure if some of the older Scala systems may do this

I hope this makes sense

any thoughts.

Scala Rider G4

I use one of these and after a few problems with the speakers I now really like it. Also has an FM Radio, which is nice.

Cheers Pedro,

I have been looking at the G4 but its got the bike comms and other stuff i wouldnt really use, just wondered if any of the older cheaper stuff may fit my needs also.

Get this LBL!

It finally arrived the other day so took a week. Will charge it to try out for Saturday.

I guess the only problem is if it needs recharging after 6 hours and your on a long trip.

If they ear peices fit in your ears, looking at them they may hurt after a while, especially if you have sensitive ickle ears like me :)

i guess for £8 i may as well tho :thumb2

At £8 .. buy 4 for £32. That will cover you for any 24 hour period!

clever....................

im on tenderhooks to see if my bid wins. Not long to go :D dont you go outbidding me now :rob

Get some moulded ear monitors made by Green Leopard or Ultimate Ear. Cost a few quid but worth it....

The little device Tom has pointed out will work fine but you may still have a problem in the lughole department, as it uses what look like very very cheap (and very nasty) Ipod in-ear whatsits. Don't forget to bring the charger.

Your problem is not the connection method (wire or wireless) but the shape of the ear pieces themselves.... moulded monitors will fix that.

I agree Richard, still like the G4 tho, once you have yours up and running i may get your thoughts.

I have it going now, common sense having at last prevailed, the bods sending me the three missing parts.

They took some convincing that they (and not me) should wait for the replacement parts to come from America.... customer service of any sort not a regular song in their hymn-book it seems.

The G4 seems to work OK from a trip around my living room. Will give it a proper whirl at the weekend.

Still like my Autocom, though.
