Help - effin' popups

[(RIP) Bin Ridin]

I am being showered with ringtone, casino and adult friendfinder popups, despite having Google toolbar and MS anti-spyware on.
I have tried putting the site names in the blocked site list, but I think they get around this.
Running XP and IE6.0
Any suggestions how to stop this stuff? (Apart from leaving PC off)

Try Lavasoft Adaware Available free here ...that's pretty good.

If that fails, you may need to uget a bit more serious with it...there's a tool called 'Hijack This' which creates a log file of everything running and then you can weed it out by hand using their excellent help files, or download specific applets to clean out the more common and stubborn little buggers.

Hijack This is available HERE ....if you have any probs using it, you can post the text from the file it produces here and we'll hae a look at it.

Ditto mate, though only on my laptop, damned adware. I removed most of it with Norton AV but some wont budge. If I wanted a free Ipod, I would ask for one, Grrrrrrrrr.
