Evening all, I'm having some difficulty finding some good quality laminated gore tex trousers to fit. I'm looking for some trousers that have plenty of room in the backside and thigh areas. I don't have a problem finding trousers that fit around the waist 42"-44" it's just those areas. I've tried Klim latitude 44" waist but tight in the crotch unable to swing my leg over the bike I had the same issue with Rukka Armaxion in 62. The bmw street guard trousers were fine in the thighs but far to big in the waist.

Has anyone come across this problem and found a brand with a more roomy cut.

Cheers
Tom

Asking thats Q isn't going to help you much, as everyone will have their opinion which may not suit you.
Here's mine:
Can't you get the big assed Klim and have the waist and leg length altered to suit?

I get what your saying but not sure it's wise having gore tex altered it might cause it to leak

Welcome, I was the same size, although I have lost a bit of weight and now buy 40" waist. I used to go to a specialist for larger sizes in Poole and they advertised in most bike magazines.

I thought they were called fat biker, I just had a quick web search with no joy but I will look through a few mags.

Cool thanks very much

The current BMW Streetguard trousers are a generous fit. I tried loads before settling on them. They do different leg lengths too. Their jackets also come in different fittings.

Have a look at halvarssons. They do larger sizes.

Thanks folks I will look into these. As for the street guard I tried them in a 30 and 32 one was to small and one was way to big I feel a 31 would be perfect in street guards but they don't make them (typical) it's difficult because I specifically want laminated gore tex which narrows my options.

If you find anyone that does "D" sizing, that's for the more portly of us as well as having the shorter leg size. I know Scott do them. I think Halvarssons do as well.

RUKKA goes up to 6XL (EU 62 / UK 46) in their trousers with different trouser lengths, hope it helps

A quick question for Klim wearers can anybody tell me if there's more room in the cut of the badlands trousers compared to the latitude
