Hi all,

I know the weather is bad in this part of the world at the moment but I need some help trying retrieve my 850gs from a sainsburys car park just off the A23 at purley. I was trying to get home Tuesday night but had to abandon it due to the rubbish weather. I didn't even make it home to Hassocks I had to stay in London. I went back yesterday to try to get it out but the ice in the car park thwarted all my attempts. I think the best option is to stick it in van I did ring Carol Nash but they wouldn't help as it was not a mechanical issue. Anyway if someone could offer a suggestion of some kind I would be most grateful.

Regards
R

disconnect somthing / sabotage somthing then call for a breakdown

hmmm

disconnect somthing / sabotage somthing then call for a breakdown
I think youll find they call that fraud.
Also if the bike is in a place of safety, youll be last in the queue.
They are up to their ears atttending broken down vehciles with people inside freeeeeeeezing there arse off.
Not worrying in the slightest that you are at home drinking your mug of tea.
I know that you pay your premiums just like everyone else, but sometimes there are just priorities higher than yours.
A fabulous idea would be just to chain it to a bollard or similar right near the front of the store, it should be quite safe.
Alternatively hire a van,go and get your bike, then get it stuck and wait six hours for a rescue service.

Cheers for all the suggestions..Just hope it doesn't go walkies

You may want to edit your first post so it is a little less clear where you have abondoned your bike ;)

Hi R.
I'm in Peterborough and have a large van. It's a bit far but I don't mind helping out if you pay my fuel (30.00 ish).
