Maybe this was not a good day to do this...

I've tried to change the fuel filter of my 1150 and it has ended in a small disaster. How do I:

-remove the old filter and put the new one on?
-find the bolt that I have dropped into the tank?
-cope with my bored 7 year old daughter in the rain?

Any suggestions?

Sean:(

You will probably need some fuel line clips to replace the originals which you will have destroyed removing them, place the big O ring in a warm place for the hydrocarbons to evaporate out of it while you sort the rest out, I have a magnet on a stick for retrieving lost items like the hidden nut (remember to grease the threads when reassembling the unit), borrow a kitten to entertain your Daughter while you are busy :thumb2

Where can I rent a kitten?

Tell your daughter you'll give her a nice big surprise if she finds the silly naughty little bolt that's hiding in daddys petrol tank, because daddys hands are to big and clumsy to find it.........

two birds with one stone.:D

That's a good idea. I think I may let someone else fit the fuel filter too!:blast

I have one, it is looking for a safe home, it had a very unsafe experience yesterday, it snuck outside "met" my 2 x Bullmastiffs and forgot how to get back inside!!!!!!

Luckily it found a tree so ladder time to recover it last night:blast
