I may have been pished and pressed something I shouldn`t,but since last night I`ve lost my toolbar that had the symbols for stuff like

'Back'... 'Favourites'....'History'...'Refresh'...etc

There`s the very small toolbar at the top with 'File' 'Edit' 'View' 'Favourites' 'Tools' 'Help' at the top,but the other one has vanished.

I`ve got to close Internet Explorer after each post and end up back on my Desktop and reselect IE and faff about via the very small toolbar to get back on UKGSer......instead of clicking 'Back'

Wow !

That brought the missing one back....cheers matey....but now my 'Yahoo' toolbar that was below the one I`ve just got back via F11 has vanished, along with the icons that were at the bottom of the page..including the clock....(I`d scratch my head in confusion but I don`t want to spoil my hair....)

Start, Settings, Taskbar and Start Menu, tick Lock Taskbar, Keep Taskbar on Top, Group Similar Icons and Show Clock

Wizard......thanks,but I`m getting confused already.

Here`s the plot....

Pressing F11 gives me the one that went missing ( favourites/back/history/refresh,etc) but loses the Yahoo bar and the bottom stuff.

Pressing F11 again loses the one mentioned above, but gives me all the other stuff.

Pressing 'View' and 'Toolbars' gives the following ones as ticked

Address Bar
Links
Yahoo Companion
Lock the Toolbars

So....and sorry to have to ask again.....what shall I do from here, please ??

Cheers,Centaur...that got them both back :thumb

Thanks to everyone else too...especially Wizard with the PM and offer of phone assistance :beerjug:

Something`s still a bit odd,as the bottom set of icons and the clock only appear when I move my mouse over them, but all the rest is as it should be.

Phew !

Bring up the Taskbar, right click, select Properties, untick Autohide Taskbar :thumb
