Help identifying mystery electrical connector

Just sorting the wiring harness out on my new to me R80GS 1992

I have one connector with nothing plugged in to it nor does it look like it has ever had anything plugged into it

One of the cables has corroded and has a broken connection

I have checked the electrical wiring diagram in the Haynes manual but that hasn't helped

Any ideas what it is for ?



It's not the hazard switch wiring as that is this plug
