Made a little mistake today

Adjusted my valve clearances and after reassembly forgot to plug the lhs throttle body plug before turning the ignition on

It starts ok and is ok under gentle acceleration but if I try twisting the throttle past a certain point the lhs cylinder stops firing and the bike just won't go

I'm presuming that I've cocked up the servo settings by doing this

Q1 am I right
Q2 is there anything I can do about it apart from taking it to the shop or buying a gs911
Q3 anyone near Southend want to earn a few quid from their gs911

All help gratefully received

Tony

Re-Set the Throttle Position Sensors (TPS)

You could try re-setting the TPS.

Turn ignition on.
Fully open and close throttle 3 times.
Turn ignition off.
That should be it, just wait about 10 secs before turning back on and starting

Hope this helps:)

Why did you unplug the throttle bodies whilst adjusting your valve clearances ???

This is after you've disconnected the battery for a few minutes I take it.
Doing the above without disconnecting it won't reset your TPS.
The fault will have to be cleared any way as it will be logged as a sporadic fault within the engine ecu

Thanks guys

duds ill try that but have booked the bike in so if it doesnt work the shop will have to sort it out
