HELP INSTALLING ITUNES

Bought a new laptop pc with windows 8 installed.

Cannot install iTunes. I can download the installation files but when trying to run and configure the pc just get a message that iTunes cannot be downloaded and for me to exit or try again, which I have done with no success.

Anyone had similar problems? Any advice appreciated!

Are you downloading the windows version mate and not the mac one? They are totally diffrent file wise just check which one you're downloading.

It may be your security settings need turning off? or setting to accept the download.

There is usually a reason given in the message as to why it cannot download

It could be space required on the hard drive
are you downloading thru wi fi is the wi fi dropping\timing out
other than that as others have said

But unusual I think

Yup, same problem with Windows 7 on the laptop, but worked with 8.1 on the desktop....

Trawled the forums BIG TIME, but never did suss it....

I had difficulties last year, when installing onto W8.1

I seem to recall having to delete everything Apple INCLUDING Bonjour - then doing a clean install.
Remember to delete QuickTime, the iTunes files, and Bonjour, in fact everything from Apple before you start reinstalling.
