Anyone have any ideas what to do next?

Just had a mate install a Datatool Veto Evo alarm, the only circuits interrupted were the positive feed to the starter relay coil, and the positive feed to the fuel pump relay coil. These circuits are working correctly with the ign. on. i.e, fuel pump kicks in for 3-4 secs, and you can turn the engine over.
spark plugs are not sparking..
Ive tried resetting motronic by pulling fuse 5, it appears that ignition or motronic has been inhibited?

Does the fuel pump run whilst its being turned over? What coloured wire did you tap into on the starter ? you should use the black&yellow.Which wire did you use for the fuel pump.- DO NOT USE THE GREEN & WHITE WIRE.Although this has 12volts coming out of it a pulse voltage is created by the fuel pump and it will eventually burn out the relay for that circuit in the alarm.Go into the relay box or the harness to the motronic unit & use the blue wire with the brown tracer on it. This is the earth side of the control circuit for the fuel pump relay.Suggest you reconnect your original wiring cuts &see if the bike starts. If it does then make the new wiring cuts as suggested. If you have put the bike back to standard before making the new cuts & it still gives you the symptons you describe then it will be more likely to be the hall sensor (type of electronic points) Classic symptons had 1 this week on a R1100S

Hi Leigh, thanks for the early reply.... My mate Alan is at present winging his way home after dropping me off... Bikes at his place. I've spoke to him on mobile, hes going to check which wires he broke into... but he thinks he's done the correct ones. he's going to have a look on 1150 gs cdrom wiring diagram we used when installing.
If you're still around i'll Pm you in around 30 mins.. Cheers Bryn

Thanks leigh, it appears that it indeed could be the hall sensor.. we've traced the wiring and the only connector we took off was the one for the hall sensor. we disconnected it when we were initially looking for somewhere to mount the alarm box. We settled for in the tool box in the end.
Possible that in disconnecting this plug its ****d it up. Its the RAC to pidcocks tomorrow....
