hi iam new to the forum i have a 2011 bmw gsa has anyone up graded their fog lamps as i have fitted hid headlamps and now my fog lamps are very yellow in comparison maybe led bulbs or any suggestions thanks trevor
Yes, have a search back, there was a thread on here a little while ago. 190£ + fitting if you need it as a retrofit of the k1600 to the existing wiring. No programming or anything more than a cut, crimp/solder, and heat shrink.
You could also just fit a replacement LED bulb in your existing fog lamps. I am not sure what bulbs are in your fogs but you get them for most of the fitments i.e H1, H3, H7 and so on. They are pretty much a perfect colour match to 6000K HID. You could also convert the Fogs to HID as well.
I fitted LED bulbs from this company. 15 euro's each and come with the BMW plugs built in so just swap out the bulbs, Really quick job and the light colour matches the 6000K HIDs. Great service, fast delivery.

Go to your dealer and ask for the LED aux lamps and the connectors. Do a search on OEM parts or ADVrider for the part numbers if you're ordering over the phone first.
Cut off the existing connectors on the wiring to the existing lamps, crimp, solder etc the new connectors; remove the existing lamps install the LED lamps, plug in cable and done.
Simple as that.
Anybody who mentions canbus, computer upgrades / resets or anything else is needed, ignore it.

Colour matches but the output is less good. I tried a set of ebay which did match beautifully but the output was pitiful in comparison to the filament bulbs. If you're going to do it buy something that was designed for the LED in the first place.
Different colour does stand out though.
And if you really love light, the HID is the only way to go.
Give Les Wessall a PM or check his website. Loads of posts about his conversions of main and aux lights in the Vendors section. Top bloke and discount for UKGSers He can help with info and advice as well as everything to fit up a bumper melting set of lights.. http://www.hid50.com/
LED of any type currently don't match the Lumens of either a filament or a HID so you might as well save money and spend £15 instead of hundreds for a full LED light. Fog lights give a rubbish light output anyway and lets face it legally you can only use them in the fog anyway.
So options are:
If you want then to look right and use them a running lights to be seen then go get an LED bulb for them and forget paying silly money. They might not have a lot of lumens but they are bright and easy seen which is why new cars use them as sidelights.
If you want to get a good light output with the more fashionable colour then convert them to HID. You can do this the cheap way with a bit of messing about or the ready to fit no hassle way by going to Les.
