HELP! Lost gear changing ability

Hi,
First late 2008 800gs (original Bumblebee). All was fine then stopped at a store, intermittently after lost the ability to change above 3rd gear. Then it got worse, change down and up was 90% miss. I believe/hope that the little dog/spanner catch has just slipped out of place. The clutch is fine and when in gear it is fine, just changing is a problem.
NB: Replace clutch 6mth ago.
Anyone experienced this?

I think you have your two answers - - You are the only experienced one here, and yes its likely to be your little doggy things.
Mileage? As you have replaced the clutch I assume you are are in Micky territory?
