Help me fix my scanner then i'll post passport pics

i'm having problems with my scanner i keep getting this message"unable to open TWAIN source please check connection then restart toolbox"
its a cannon lide 35.Any ideas?
If i get it working i'l post my old passport photos they're bad aswell

Twain drivers can be fickle......

Unplug the scanner from the PC, uninstall it from add/remove progs then re-install it from the original CD (or download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website) then (maybe after reboot if they're crap drivers) plug the scanner back in...that usually works.

You can piss around in the hardware section of control panel, but it's usually easier and cleaner to do it from scratch

I find that VueScan from http://www.hamrick.com is much better than all that bloatware from the manufacturers!
