Free Friggin View Feckin Digiboxes!!! Grrrrr

Got daughter one of these a while ago and set up new high gain digital suitable antenna.

So Mr Freeview box can't detect channels despite the picture being as good as our main TV on satellite. I think we pick up on the Larne repeater but I don't know where to confirm.

Any tips, links or advice would be gratefully recieved as the "digital UK website is as much use as a chocolate firegaurd!

Larne transmitter long way off, 2012 i think but i know somebody on the island getting freeview!
but he,s near the rinka

Sorry, but it would appear that you are not able to receive either a good-quality analogue TV or a Freeview signal. You can either check your local transmitters, or you should consider satellite reception.

Note: these predictions are based upon a rooftop aerial mounted 40 meters above ground level. They are based on a central point in the postcode area. Local terrain and increased aerial height may make more (or less) services available. Thanks to nearby.org.uk.

Feck ME 40 meters?? for a TV aerial??? it would cost as much as a decent garage to set that fecker up!

Well that answers it We are in that white shadow area between whitehead and larne
