Help needed in Caithness!

Living and working up in Caithness at the mo and the Panzer is running like a bag of spanners........ Anyone know a decent mechanic I could visit? 1150 has just been rebuilt after a engine rebuild. Also need a new set of Tourances if anyone knows of a decent supplier in these parts.

Depends whereabouts you are but you could try Spinningdale Motors, between Bonar Bridge and Clashmore on the A949. Tom does bike MOTs, mechanics, and supplies and fits bike tyres at good rates. Don't know anyone nearer. Tel number is: 01862 881212

The Bremner brothers used to be around Altermotive Engineering in Thurso and have BMW/Guzzi experience but dunno if the business still exists or if they work there. Worth an enquiry.

Spinningdales closer and under £200 for pair of Tourances fitted. All I do is phone and book in a week before.

Straight down A9, turn right before Dornoch Firth bridge ( signed Bonar bridge) then about 4 miles up road is Spinningdale - just a few cottages on sweeping bend. Garage is 20 yds down lane on right at the bend .

Took Sethmopps advice and went to AMS Motorcycles in Wick this morning and The Panzer seems happier..! Cheers for the help... Acf 50 doing the business as a muck magnet!!

AMS Bikes in Wick.

Used to buy all my TKC80's via them and they'd fit. Less hassle than lugging down to Snecky.

Pauls' well respected on the spanners and it's a nice little family business. Pop in and have a chat, dunno what he's like on boxers but he has no probs with jap bikes.

Something to do with balancing the throttle butterflies! Took 10 minutes and I'm up and running again so more than happy. Great service always happy to chat, just need to get them making the brews..
