Hello,

I am trying to put the Touratech handlebar risers on my 800GS. Everything is going just smooth but I am a bit unsure about what's "up" on the risers? Should the "hollow" part point upwards and the "pointed" part downwards (ie. like "U") or vica versa (ie. like an inverted U)?

Thanks in advance!

I've fitted them

I've fitted them to my 650gs and as far as I remember it only fits one way. I think the hollow bit facess down. It should be flush, no gaps inbetween the risers. :)

Hope that helps!

Cheers :beerjug:

No probs, enjoy the new riding position. Makes it allot easier off road. Plus great relaxing touring position day to day! :)

The risers have ben installed and tested without problems. However, when I use some force to move the handlebar back and forth there is some slight movement which I think is coming from the handlebar risers and bolts. This doesn't have any influence on driving, but should it be this way? I can't remember how it used to be without the risers (I never checked) and now I am afraid I didn't fasten the bolts sufficiently.

thanks!

:)
