Help Please! Changed plugs and won`t start...

Hello, 2012 G650GS, bikes been great, 2500 miles in 8 weeks and no issues. 4000 miles up and set about a service (did 100miles on it yesterday evening and all good). So, fitted new Iridium plugs (and the little screw on caps ), reconnected the battery and it wouldn`t start...remembered the electrical connection to the airbox...still wouldn`t start.

Removed the battery and airbox again, everything looks as it should, refitted all...still won`t fire...turns over, but won`t fire

I`m a fairly competent Maintenance Technician by trade, serviced my own bikes all my life. I`ve called it a day for today, but i`ll not rest until it`s `right`.

Any ideas as to what i`m doing wrong please, it does have a BMW alarm too, b.t.w.

Is there a need for this TPS reset? If so what does that involve please?

Not sure what size battery the G650GS has, but the XChallenge does this when the battery is on it's last legs. Might be worth charging or swopping batteries before thinking it is anything more sinister..
 
Cheers mate, the battery usually sits on an Optimate. It`s on there now, will try it tomorrow evening :thumb

Side stand switch, kill switch, battery condition and terminals tight? Perhaps pull a plug and make sure you have spark. Install the old plugs and see if it fires.

The tps/adaptations reset ie. Ignition, throttle full 3x and off is a myth. The only way to reset is with a gs911 or at the dealer then leaving to idle until the fan kicks in. It's only required if you have replaced injector, O2 sensor etc.
