Help please, Insurance for Canada/USA

Hello, I'm struggling with finding insurance cover for a three month trip to Canada and USA. I've been in contact with motorcycle express but they are telling me that a 2004 model year R1200GS is not listed in the US insurers' database (NADA) and therefore can offer liability cover (3rd party) only.
Has anybody else come across this problem?
Can anyone recommend any other companies?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm leaving in May!

Insurance for USA

Hi Sgt Bilko, hope you can help me. I'm shipping my bike out to the USA in September for a 3 week trip. I've contacted MotorcycleExpress ref 3rd party insurance but they quoted me over $600. When I replied saying I was gobsmacked and I wanted the bare minimum to cover to keep the cost down they've quoted me $360 which is still hefty imho. Am I being tight or is this the sort of price I've got to expect to pay? If you could offer any advice or help me out I'd be extremely grateful

Don´t think there was a 2004 R1200GS in the US, they are introduced later there. Just call it a 2005.
