Help plz ? Brake disk loose !??

Help plz. Loose front disc ??!!
How do ,

Bit of advise / help needed please

I have an 02 adv.

Last night noticed the front offside disc appears to be loose . I could understand it if 1 bolt was loose but the disc appears to be uniformly loose all the way round, having a couple of mil' play,the dome head star bolts are all tight round the disc.

Now, am I a complete dimbulb and it's always been that way ? or should I be worried ?

I feel a bit daft here, I have replaced my own pads a few times and cant say I can recall this before. but what can have moved / loosened to allow the whole disc to be free? The nearside is rock solid.

I am booked in for a service next week so I'll get it looked at there but I am curious / worried / adverse to paying for something I can do myself

Tomorrow I'm going to have to go into a dealers and fondle a front disc to get it sorted in my mind,

Any opinions / advice / experience from your collective technical data bank might help me sleep tonight,

I've moved this to the 1150 technical section from the GS Mods section as it isn't really about a modification to the bike
