Have previously converted R1150GS(non abs) using r1150r wheels which proved nice&easy!
Am now wanting to convert a R1150GSA(ABS servo). The fronts no problem cause i have got a wheel with a speedo drive so i can use an 1150r speedo drive.
The back is proving a PROBLEM! I have a 5.5" rim out of a k1200rs(abs) I understand it might fit if i use the rear disk/carrier/abs ring from an R1100RT which bolts straight too the drive shaft.
Has any one done this conversion using those bits? and does it all fit?
I have spent hours searching but want to be %100 sure before i buy all the bits.
Thanks for any advice i get.

Yup......

Here's one I did earlier with those bits you mention....

COOL. Thanks for the reply. Is CC2 ABS servo? If so any hassles?
Which abs ring do i need, the pressed one like the original or the alloy toothed one?
Feeling much happier already!:)

CC II is ABS Servo....

I used the Alloy ABS ring that I had off CC I, it bolts to the R1100RT disc carrier with the small screws/bolts no problems...

It could well be that the pressed steel one will fit too...try it first before shelling oot for another..

I needed a couple of shims to offset and centre the wheel, they're only pence from the likes of Motorworks, they sit between the wheel and the hub. It BWM's way of engineering in some tolerence, with out the need for a vernier gauge....

It could well be that you don't need them..again bolt the wheel up and see how close the tyre sits to the swing-arm.

You'll also need 4 different length wheel bolts, can't recall if they are longer or shorter, it's that long since I did the conversion now.

HTHs....;)

Ask to speak to 'Nord', he's the Guy in the know with this conversion...we went through it together a few years ago...
