Can any one tell me if this area is worth going to? Is the coast nice and also
is the nature reserve worth a visit?

Many thanks. Any info would be great

Tim

Don't know about the nature reserve but this is one of my favourite places in Morocco. Hard to know why because in many ways it's not that interesting. But there is a great beach. Interesting architecture if you like Art Deco and you have to eat at the Nomad Cafe. If you do regards to Abdul. Belle Vue Hotel was being refurbished in November 08 and the hotel down by the beach Hotel des Ait Baamrane is ok. Suerta Loca a bit run down these days.Good biking roads around.

Nice area, the Michelin map rightly has the coastal road as a scenic route. Mirleft to the north has an interesting ex-Spanish fortress which is now an upmarket auberge (Les Trois Chameaux). I stayed in the prison block I think.

Between Mirfelt and Sidi Ifni is Legzira Beach which is very pretty with a couple of sea arches, cheapish hotels and a camp site.

To the south is Bou Jerif with two Foreign Legion forts, one a total ruin and interesting to view, the other a hotel/campsite called, not surprisingly, Fort Bou-Jerif.

And the road from Guelmim down into Ifni is AWESOME, one of the best I've ever raced down!Just beware if it's wet. I liked it so much the first time down but the second time was on my day return from Ifni to Laayoune and was in the dark (a long day but worth it for the desolation).Tired eyes and greasy fish trucks ahead of you make for an interesting ride!:clap

Thanks Guys

Many thanks for the info. Unfortunately it looks like i'm going to have to go there having read your reply. Many thanks again.:)
