Arrived home after an epic ride without clutch. The cable snapped on the A3 and had to do the last 3-4 miles in second gear. Luckily, traffic was light late at night and the traffic lights (several) changed just when approaching them ...Save two that I had to go trough on red. Hope there is no cameras...

But I also discover now that I have a massive hole where a big screw punctured the tyre...

Does anyone knows a tyre repair service open on Sunday on Surrey, South London?

Cheers...Yosi

thanks for taking the screw off the road...... i was sure to have it otherwise...... 3 punctures in 9 months me...... though not on the gs metzlers which are steel lined. ;)

Nightmare! Yosi, I have literally just got back from Watlings in Catford with a new rear on mine after an almighty puncture this morning! My rear had a four inch screw in it and was totally flat when I went to ride off shopping this morning. I managed to get there after ringing up the only two mobile tyre repair people I know (neither of whom could do anything til next week, sorry) and following the guys advice to remove the offending screw, and replace it with a much bigger one! Sounds mad, but it worked. I pumped the tyre up to it's normal 42 psi and it lost no air at all between my house and Catford. Could you try this method to get yourself to the repairshop on monday?

2 in 1 month - both screws straight through rear 'v' rated metzlers .... I am the puncture-meister :(

Try National Tyres . Kwik fit, they could patch it. (www.national.co.uk)

I assume, you have tried the pucnture repair kit, I repaired mind no problem and FWR said it was fine as long as I kept on tarmac

WWW.FWR.CO.UK is open 08.30 Monday morning. Let me know if you need a hand.

Cheers, Nick

Murphy's Law.

When you need the blasted thing, is useless. The glue is dry because the cup was loose...

So, I'll try and get a repair kit tomorrow if no luck with a proper repair...

Many thanks to everybody...

The though of conmuting by train or car doesn't bear consideration...

Also

Superbike tyres, I think they do mobile repairs.
