Help with a few things.

Hi there - Bike's back on the road after a long layup due to ill health it's a 2001 1150 GS.
Now fitted with K&N, Y-Piece and Techlusion.

Anyone running this setup - what are your settings for the techlusion?
I've put some reccomended settings from this forum up, but the bike is far from perfect. How do you get rid of the Backfire?

Also, stainless brake hoses looking good - I'm having some fun bleeding the front brakes though - brakes work fine, but are just that little bit spongy.
As I'm breaking in a new set of pads, I guessed that this may be why they are not as good as normal, but after a 20 mile spin bedding the pads in, they are still a bit spongy
Do I carry on with normal bleeding, and bleed it to death - or are there any other suggestions out there?

bleeding front brakes 1150gs

hi mike.
had the same problem after fitting new pads so i spoke to Niel (Steptoe) he suggested i fasten the brake lever back overnight to dispel the remaining air in the system it worked a treat.(I used a cable tie)hope it helps.
