Hi folks a little help is needed

I have came across a original service CD for various BMW bikes ranging from 1150GS, ADV, F series, and some k bikes as well.

however I can't seem to view any of the images, there is an additional program I think your meant to install called ISOVIEW 3 and it's asking for some sort of license key would this sort of info be incuded in the paperwork you get with a new bike ?

any help is appreciated
Roddy

Well IsoView is one of them standardish CAD things - you can download a fully functional version of IsoView 5 at http://www.itedo.com/E/278_279.php.

Don't know if that will help - it's one of those "free distribution when you buy the development kit" thingiews if I recall correctly, unless it is used on the web when it needs to be protected.

Never having seen a live version of the CD which you describe, I can't be any more useful than that...

Hello

Isoview is used to view technical drawings, hence you can't see them.

Unfortunatly Isoview costs you ££££££££

They do let you have a free trial though - But in my experience any program aimed at businesses is never cheap to buy.

There is another download called 'Isoview web CGM' This is free but I don't think it will allow you to view those drawings.

Have a look at

ITEDO

There is a download button on the LHS

Hope this helps

Hi Roddy,
The CD your asking about sounds like something completely different - maybe it's wiring diagrams for various models??.
The CD I sent you IS the official BMW one - in fact their official line on it (in the UK anyway!) is they won't sell it to Joe public! - "It's for their Master Technicians only"!!! - bollocks, I know, but that's what they like to think!!

Cheers....................Grizzly

HI Grizzly

the other CD is completely different from yours, (which works fine thanks once more), this one has various models you select then you can select from service data, torque settings, and various other headings, it's not really a great problem as I have one that works, it just gave me more options if I change my bike.

cheers

cd

sounds like you might have the ETK parts cd.

If it is then there should be a program named 'sysadm' which you have to install first.
You then run that program and use it to install the ETK catalog.

This will give you loads of info on car and bike stuff, all the part numbers for everything.
Only problem is when bmw update part numbers, but even having an old number will help when buying parts as they will have the superceded part number.
