I need some help as I am a total numpty with Photoshop.

Background.

I bought Photoshop CS6 to spend the winter nights editing photos and hopefully in time learn how to use it (not professionally).

My father has asked me to manipulate a scanned image and that is to change all the red text to white.

How do I do this please ? from what I have seen on here it must be possible

It's actually easy, but typing it out will make it sound complicated.

The best bet , I reckon, is to watch some YT video tutorials.......there are literally thousands, covering pretty much everything from the basics right up to super-advanced and very fancy things you can do..and seeing it on screen makes a lot more sense than trying to interpret written instructions :)

As a start point....I just typed in "photoshop how to change a text colour" into YT's search box......Here's are the results, fill yer boots :)

Yep, i'm with Bill on this one, the hardest thing is trying to work out what to type in the search field for some stuff but its interesting what one search will bring back and then you sort of wander around and stumble on all sorts of tips and tricks
