Help with this cruise control fit

Try to fit this but can't get this apart any ideas

The inner thread just keeps on moving

Gravel needs weeding. Do it while you wait.

Managed to do it. Wrapped an inner tube round the thread then used mole grips to hold it whilst using ratchet to free it.

Now I can't get the handgrip tight without it locking the throttle. Is there a special way to do it. Bought from jaws motorcycles but no instructions

How's the gravel weeding coming along?

You might ned to move the throttle control on the handlebar. The clamp is under a cover at the front side of the switch block. You might have to move the brake lever clamps to makes space to get at it.

I've one. Went on with no problems.
Hopefully the welding has cured it.
I've put a couple of medium O rings between the collar and the outer weight.
Means only one turn of the collar to apply friction.

Thanks managed to get it to nip ok. Just need to trial it on the road.
