Help with Tracklogs please.

I know how to start my Nav III (2820) recording a track.

I know how to name the track.

Is it now possible to transfer the track from the GPS device to my PC? If so, how?

I have tried clicking on the Receive from Device key and tried using the Transfer drop down Menu. The PC finds the device OK but nothing seems to happen.

Cannot see anything in the manual.

Connect the unit to the PC via the serial cable.

Click on the transfer button (at the top with the arrow coming out of the GPS) and a menu should appear with tick boxes for Waypoints, tracks, routes and maps.

Tick the tracks box and then the OK to transfer....

You should then see a list of tracks under the tracks tab in the left hand menu...
