HELP !!!

OK you tekkys help an' old fart out please
Just bought missus a refurbed DELL.
Just what she needs but it's arrived with no OS, no probs thought I, as I've still got the original XP pro and numbers disc that came with Barbs older DELL..
Put it in and it sez >> wrong disc no OS, I THEN read the disc [XP Pro] and it sez >>
for reinstalltion, os is already on PC
so what do I do??
Do I need a floppy start up ?/ or a CD of basic os for a DELL??

If any one wnats to take the piss, remember I have STRONG CIDER and 100% RUM to get ya back with


It is a Genuine DELL / Windows XP pro sp2 disc thsat I have..

I have genuine discs for a dell laptop (which is now dead and binned) that you can have Proff

Normally, it's just a case of sticking the first CD in and then re-booting , making sure that the BIOS is set to boot from the CD first.
