Got a new exhaust and no matter how much i wiggle it it still blows :tears

Any one got a clue how to seal it?

it's a 2008 Yam R1... Beowulf slip ons...

and if i put it on and get it wrong will it come off again as i have two cans that need to line up perfeckly etc...?

Stupid question but are the exhaust clamps not doing their job or is the opening too large. You could hacksaw slots into the opening of the slip ons if its too big and then the clamps should seal it ?

the clamp doesn't seem to tighten enough :blast

one side seems fine. and the link to the cat pipe is fine it's the link pipe to the can that sin't doing it's job :tears

been faffing with it since lunch time

did u put grease on inside of clamp
as you need lubby to work
also run the bike till hot
or pop over i will look and see what i can do :blast

but not monday
as shop will be close this monday

didn't put owt on it just wiggled them together and shuftied them about etc. got them level and then one was blowing. shuffled it and it ended up unlevel and still blowing. then it started thundering and i realised i'd been dicking about with them on and off for 6 hours so put the bike away and sulked :hide
