Hepco and Becker

I have just (had) fitted the aluminium Wimowa ones. I'm quite pleased. The Gobi ones have an internal reservoir in the skin I think, which I thought could take up valuable packing space. Really depends if you need the fluid or not.

They look good though.

Once you have the rails fitted you can mix and match from the whole range!

I have the `normal` H&B panniers on the Breva I bought. They have a double skin construxtion. They are very sturdy, but waste a lot of space. Give me Givi any day! If Givi did a frame for the Breva I would swap. I may look into finding a way of fitting Givi panniers using the H&B frame vial a home made plate.

I have used Gobi's on a previous bike but found them just a bit bulky as they have the water res inside plus they weigh more than you would think, I switched over to the Alu Hepco's and they where better IMO.. However I have since gone with Wolfman drybag panniers and will not look back, the extra weight of the Alu/Gobi's v the Dry bags for me isnt worth it unless you want to have the stickered up RTW look..

I do own a Hepco alu topbox that would be used for storing valubles when out on my travels if the situation arises. I am meeting more and more people that are now running softer luggage and most have come from Alu type boxes most are happy to have switched..

Mine did using the universal straps, I believe the company now supply the universal staps with the panniers as standard..

I was passing Moto-Bins yesterday on work time so popped in for a look.

Gobi in black look fantastic, solid and the double skin isn't as space constraining as I thought it would be.

Good price too when compared to Toutatech, and matches the Givi Trekker range but seems better built.
