Hi y’all

Got a big box arrived today containing new Hepco & Becker engine bars. Now the bikes off for her first service (1 year old ~4k miles. Only 4k?????) on Tuesday. Simple question is do H&B’s compromise ease of servicing? Don’t want to fit them tomorrow and find Mr BMW complains, on Tuesday.

Regards

Tim

Put them on after the service I should, only way to be safe and not get money extorted out of you.
4000 miles, we'll have to get you out more:cool:

Get out more

Vern

You're right I must get out more. Having just looked at the odometer it's actually 3k miles, so I'll have to get out even more!!!
In my defence I've only had the bike 5 weeks having bought it (her) with 1800 miles on the clock.
See you around sometime.

The H&B bars don't have to be removed to get the Valve covers off, I do my own servicing, and can tell you they just have to be loosened by about 6mm and the covers will come off easily, this is not the case with some other bars, so don't let the buggers tell you they have to come off 'cos they don't.

Just loosen off the rear bolts by about 6mm.
