Hepco & Becker crashbars problem????

Friends,
i was working on my bike, some adjustments, some cleaning etc. I saw something on the crashbars in point when they meet.I don't remember if this was there always? looks like they bent somehow.possible??don't know what to do? i know that i fitted them correctly. could you Sirs check on your bikes?is it there?my crashbars faulty?

Hello all

This is my first posting. I have a GS 1150 1999 nd want to get a set of crash bars. Came across te following at motorworks.com:
- Crahsbar set (£199.01)
- Hepco and Becker Engine Bars (£112.80)
- Hepco and Becker Tank and upper bodywork bars (£86.95)

Does anyone have any of those? I saw a photo of the Hepco and Becker Engine bars but have no idea about the other ones. Looking for best protection but can't tell the difference. Any help...much appreciated.

Mine aren't like that, but then they are superstealth high-speed black. Your "dent" has a factory fitted look about it to me though.

That bend is for the 1100gs as the exhaust passes the engine .They fit both 1100 /1150 you just get differenf fitting kit
