Yep, mine are chrome and after some good use by Alpmeister, then a couple of years on my bike, they're absolutely perfect.

Seems to be the norm for pannier frames to corrode quickly, my caja sahal plastic coated frames lasted less than 2 weeks and 2500 miles before the plastic split and now have corrosion
